Bude, Cornwall
Bude is our favourite place in the UK and we have returned here many, many times; we even chose to get married here.
There is a beauty about Cornwall that is difficult to specifically identify but few people visit here only once. Since Mark was born I have tried to get down here at least once per year and have often managed twice, occasionally 3 times. However many times I visit I always return to Bude and will never tire of the area.
The shots below are taken from our 2011 holiday.

Sarah didn't follow me out along this ridge to get photos!
This picture is one of my favourites, the houses to the left are mainly holiday lets and the sea lock provides a walkway across to the beach, the fishing is also good in the canal.
The canal is always worth a visit and with rowing boat hire beside Summerleaze beach you can be off in no time....as long as you don't mind rowing
We love this beautiful beach, the cafe above provides all you need for the day and there are surf hire shops adjacent
There is a magic to Bude that needs to be experienced......more then once.
