Holland Park
Holland Park sits comfortably in the affluent and fashionable 'Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea' which is in west London. The Park comprises over 50 acres and is split into three main parts, the first at the northern end is all semi wild woodland with clear marked pathways through beautiful old trees. The centre of the park is much more formal and this is reflected in the gardens there along with 'The Belvedere' (an upscale european restaurant), the Opera House and Ecology Centre as well as the more affordable 'Holland Park Cafe'. The southern end of the park is given over to sports of various kinds and at the southern entrance 'The Design Museum' which brings you to Kensington High Street. There are 2 japanese gardens and several 'set' spaces showing spectacular displays year round, so if you find yourself roaming the affluent streets of Kensington, don't forget to pay a visit to this little jewel tucked away to the west of its more famous neighbour 'Hyde Park'.
