Sarah and I revisited the Jumpingpound Trail on Sunday and enjoyed a gentle 12.5km (7.7) wander through the forest taking in the beautiful colours of early autumn. The 5 shots below show the best of the early views.
I took a long hike through the Elbow Valley this week along a dry creek bed, the mountains have their first snow covering this year and just enough trees are turning to add wonderfully to the photos. Click here for the full hike and pics.
We spent Labour Day weekend exploring a little of Yoho National Park, we visited waterfalls, hiked along rivers and lakes and explored small mountain towns along the way, 'we' even jumped in the icy cold waters of a glacial river. It was another great weekend in the mountains. Click here for full story and pics.
